Post-Operative Meniscus Tear Rehabilitation Using LiveBand BFR

Megan Driesen, PT, DPT, ATC

This case study examines the implementation and outcomes of blood flow restriction (BFR) training using the LiveBand BFR device as part of the rehabilitation protocol for a post-surgical patient recovering from meniscus repair. The investigation assesses the therapeutic efficacy of BFR training protocols in promoting post-surgical recovery and restoring function following injury. Through systematic evaluation of patient response and outcomes, this study contributes to the growing body of evidence regarding BFR application in orthopedic rehabilitation.
