Physician-led Innovation
Eric Bowman, M.D., received his undergraduate degree from Miami University. He then attended Ohio State University, where he earned a master’s degree in public health. He graduated medical school from the University of Cincinnati, followed by Orthopedic residency at the Campbell Clinic at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
Dr. Bowman completed his fellowship in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles. During his fellowship he was assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks.
Dr. Bowman is currently affiliated with Vanderbilt University Medical.
Our Mission
LiveBand BFR was built around a simple idea: blood flow restriction training should be easier to use, easier to integrate into practice, and practical enough for the real world.
The system combines Active Pressure Management with a portable, straightforward design that fits naturally into rehabilitation, recovery, and performance workflows.
There is no need for an app, Bluetooth connection, or complicated setup. Clinicians can control the system directly from the device, spend less time managing technology, and more time focused on the person in front of them.
But LiveBand is about more than the device itself. We believe great products in healthcare and human performance are built by listening closely to the people who actually use them. That means continuing to learn from clinicians, athletes, trainers, and patients as we improve the product and expand where BFR can make a difference.
Today, we are building on that foundation with a broader vision: to make intelligent, practical BFR technology more accessible across rehabilitation, sports performance, recovery, fitness, and wellness.
